Flora and Fauna

DDG Retreat is located within territory of preserved natural park. At DDG Retreat our guests can experience a great variety of plants and animals to see.

On our territory you may catch a glimpse of deers, follow-deers, monfflons, foxes, wild boars, bodgers, hedgehogs and many other animals.

In the sky you can enjoy breathtaking sight of eagles and vultures flying above your head. Don't get scared if a little lizard will cross your path or maybe even come to visit you in your bungalow!

By the parking spot, a family of chameleons can be seen time to time. Sometimes in the morning or in the evening you may see a family of roe deers who can be quite nosy and wonder around the territory.

There is a great variety of plants and trees growing within this beautiful preserved area: cork oaks, stone oaks, wild olives, several species of pine trees, larch, locust trees, eucalyptus, palm hamerops and much more.
